What if you do all that, and the model is not list or detected? Then what?

What do you mean start searching? I am now at home, so I left my notes at my office, what website do I go to? And I did try to go to the PC-Chips website, but it all in Chinese. How do I read anything there?

Well in your case I started with the bios string 61-0304-000747-00101111-071595-M747

I went to www.google.com and searched for M747 and the first hit point to good old PC Chips as I suspected. You will find that PC Chips makes boards for damm near everyone. You will also find that their service sucks as do most of their boards (my opinion).

As for the language problem... if it asks to download just cancel. Many sites have a a US flag or English that you can click on and again some times you just guess!

NOW WHAT?

Okay, I went to a couple of the sites. Thanks for the help, by the way. I downlaoded some of the Drivers. I did find a BIOS update, but no instructions on what to do. It was 990304s.rom. What am I supposed to do with it?

Do as AJZ recomends.... plus if you look around the various OEM sites they give instructions on "How to Update.... Here's when PC Chips fail.
