Does it look like this?

This is the Luckytech SYE P6VBX2 which was also sold under other names. the XJ part of your bios string should indicate the manufacturer but that one is still unknown. Is there a sticker with a part number on your board somewhere?

Google came up with this :

http://www.google.de/search?q=cache:noD ... e&ie=UTF-8

: : BIOS Date: 07/28/1999
: : BIOS Type: Award Modular BIOS v4.51PG
: : BIOS ID: 07/28/00-693-596-w977-2a6lgxj9c-00
: : BIOS Eval: B687 BIOS Ver:A.6
: : Chipset: via 82443ZX rev 34
: : Superio: ALi M5133 rev 0 found at port 3F0h

Very strange ...

That looks like complete BS. B687 is Procomp board with BX chipset. There's nothing like "via 82443ZX". "Superio: ALi M5133" while ID string contains "w977".

Edwin

That is not the motherboard. It is a socket370 via693A ATX motherboard. I have the manual but it doesn't have the manufacturer's name. The sticker is also missing on my board.

Do you see other letters or numbers onto the Board which may be some kind of model numers ?
Especially in the edges and between the PCI Slots

The "VER:A.6" part makes it seem very "SuperPower"....
