i need help IDing my MB

thats the info i got but when i was checking out the site i didnt see any Bios ID's w/ the same format as mine and im confused. also when i boot my pc i dont see a bios string pop up. i just installed a new video card and i htink i need to update my bios. any help?

Asus P4B266LA. What symptoms lead you to believe you need a new BIOS?

Just for curiousity sake check the board surface for an HP/Compaq replacement number....

Asus has been formatting thiers like this for awhile now. Atleast since the early Socket 7 days. My old VX97 was in the same style of format.

Most likely not because it wouldn't display the BIOS ID and hide it completely - atleast Compaq used to do it that way. Not sure about HP.
Give it a shot - its always worth atleast one. For the posters sake I hope he doesn't find one.
