What motherboard is this

I cant seem to find any info on my motherboard. Its:

Really sorry, I was about to post about the manual in this thread, but thought it was more appropriate in the other thread. sorry.
how about any bios updates and manuals. I have spent the best part of this day trying to look for a bios update and manual.
Yes I already saw the Yakumo P686LX in this site, but is that the same motherboard ???

Like London buses, you wait months for a Yakumo P686LX ^h^h^h^h^h PC-Partner 440LX; then 2 come along at the same time.

Thanks for the help, the bios update was successful.
The main reason why I wanted to update the bios was because each time I entered the bios screen, it kept freezing. By updating the bios, the problem still remains. Any ideas why this is happening ???
Does anyone know the maximum hard drive size this new bios can support ???
The bios string has now changed to - 61-0603-004500-00111111-071595-440LX-PPLX0603

If you disconnect the HDDs does it still freeze when you enter CMOS setup ?
As it is an AMI BIOS I would expect it to support HDD up to 128GiB (i.e. 137 438 953 472 bytes, or 137GB in HDD manufacturer's terms)

Yes, it still freezes even after disconnecting hardrive, cddrive, floppydrive, soundcard, mouse. I have tried running it with only graphicscard and keyboard, graphics card is left on so I can plug the monitor in and the keyboard so I can control the bios options.
I have also tried a different keyboard!
It still freezes. I have even tried clearing the bios with the jumper reset.
Why is this happening ???

Two possibilities come to my mind:
1. You have a hardware problem
2. The BIOS you were using was not correct for the board, so the new one is not correct either.
So, some questions:
Did this problem just start one day, or did the board always have the problem ?
Did you get the board new or used ?
Is there any identification on the board which identifies the model, i.e. 35-8800-XX, 35-8801-XX or similar ?

I've seen these thing happen due to a CPU-Fan or other fan connected to the mainboard with instable rpm signal or with a somehow damaged signal .
Try to boot without CPU-Fan(try other fan first if an other fan is connected) connected and enter Bios for only a short time to prevent CPU-overheating just for testing purposes .
If you are able to enter Bios with fan disconnected get a new fan

Yes, the problem just started one day, it used to work perfectly a long long long time ago, I only noticed the problem a few weeks ago when I wanted to enable the cdrom boot option, but couldn’t because the bios kept freezing.
I think the board was new as it was in a new PC.
Any ideas where the identification model number would be on the board, its like looking for a needle in a haystack.

I have tried it with and without a fan, but it makes no difference.
The only thing that makes a different is the bios reset jumper. If I reset the bios, I can move between the options in the bios using the keyboard for at least 10 seconds and then it freezes. If I enter the bios again after restarting the computer, it freezes almost straight away.
Any suggestions ???

I tried 2 keyboards, the first 1 was a standard PS/2 and the second 1 was a usb keyboard witha usb-ps/2 converter so it was also plugged into the PS/2 port.

I just got another harddrive 6gig, but did does not work in this computer, I tried it out in my other computer and it worked perfectly. I think this might have something to do with this bios problem I am having!
Any idea>
Help!

OK, I think this board is faulty, as it will no longer recognise the harddrive, even thoough the harddrive works perfectly with another computer.
Is it possible to fix a problem like this ???
