help wanted

i have a problem with my mobo and my bios.
my bios see's my mobo as differend mobo.
i have a via m825 lu 7.2c mobo.
but my bios see's him as a m825vxx.
and my mobo has 2 memory banks and when i have a proggie on it say's i have 4 memory banks.
this is my stringnr 62-1225-001131-00101111-040201-via_k7-m825vxx.
bios date12/25/03.and i have a driver from 04/02/01.
bios type american megatrend.
oem signout release 12/25/03.
super l/0 ite 8705/SIS950 rev 2 found at port 2EH.
chipset via 82c3116 rev 0.
this is my mobo.

Looks normal - what's exactly your problem ?
You may try a newer Bios but that won't make any difference ( but it knows more CPU thus making a Duron 1600 to Pro2500+) .

You have 2 memory slots each capable of holding one DIMM as one or two bank DIMM depending on singlesided or doublesided configuration .

he see's him wrong.
because i have 3 pci's and he see's 5 pci i got 2 memory banks to 2gb and my bios say's to 4gb.
and i can't change my fsb in my bios and also on my mobo.
he is 200 mhz and i can't change him to 266 mhz.
he is verry slow,and my power is also low.
he see's my processor as a mobile and i have a desktop.
its a mess.
it is a 2900A+.
when i do aida32 its say my proseccor is a 2900A+,and als a mobile AMD athlon (tm)xp-m 1800+.
and als a mobile AMD athlon xp 1500 mhz (2.5x600)1700+.
aida see's 3 type's of my processor.
and i i'm a noob with pc's.

Your 7.2C has a soldered-in CPU - usually and older/smaller beast (Duron or mobile Duron or older mobile Athlon/AthlonXP) .
The Bios remarks these CPU with a ficitional number - a Duron 1.6GHz would be a Pro2500+

than when i have some cashe i trow it in the trascan.
