HI
I've got a Gigabyte motherboard with boot ID string: 62-1001-001199-00101111-071595-V694V686-GA694006-F

I need to find out exact model of this motherboard

can anyone help?

Knowing Gigabyte it should be clearly visible on the top surface of the board itself. GA-xxxx

I have tried to execute the clear guidelines on this site.

how to know the manufacturer of my motherboard if the name isn't mentioned by using the bios ID nr.

RESULTS
bios = 02/13/2003-kt400-8235-
6A6LY D4 A C-00

If I do it manually:
D4: DFI (the company who manufactured the motherboard)
6A6LY: chipset is: viakt400 /via kt600.via km400 /km266Pro/KM400a (this is a link)
If I click on link , I get to see a lot of BIOS ID's, but not one of them is exactly the same as mine.
I found one with 02/13/2003-kt400-8235-6A6LY but after this the characters are not the same (C5AC-00 and not like mine D4AC-00) other manufacturer?? an other model?) , yet the name DFI is shown at the right side of it ( DFI AD77Pro ) how come the same manufacturer but another manufactuer number?

another one also had the number C5 (DFI) but in the list(identifying the motherboard manufacturer) D4 is also DFI?? and C5 is not on this list?

At this point I'm not sure if it is DFI or not. if the list is correct, then I assume I have a DFI (D4)

But what is then my chipset? there are more then 1 in the link?

Automaticcaly:

using biosscanplus: motherboard: kt400-8235, (why I don't see here DFI of a name of a manufacturer?)
chipset: VIA 82C3189 rev0. the link "viakt400 /via kt600.via km400 /km266Pro/KM400a" does not show this one?
using amibios(I have phoeninx AWARD, so not really correct to use this application) but it did give a name: DFI. product name: AD77 version: empty, serialnumber: empty.

when I go to the DFI website I found a motherboard that is the same as mine (picture and opened my case). name is AD77PRO. and not AD77
according to specification chipset is VIA KT400 and VT8235CD.

If I check the chip on mymotherboard it says: vt8235.

CONCLUSION

motherboard = DFI AD77Pro
chipset: VIA KT 400

How sure can I be that this is my motherboard and chipset, KNOWING that other chipsets are been mentioned (KT400, VIA 82C3189 ??)

Please help

not sure where the C5 comes from, it appears to be a typing mistake. <release date>-kt400-8235-6A6LYD4AC-00 is used for the AD77 Pro as well. KT400 is a model name for the entire chipset, the 82C3189 chip is one part of that chipset. It depends on what utility you use which names will be shown.

The AD77 looks like this:

The AD77 Pro looks like this:
http://dfi-acp.com/Product/xx_product_s ... MB&SITE=US

The AD77 Infinity looks like this:
http://dfi-acp.com/Product/xx_product_s ... MB&SITE=US

Should be easy to find which of the 3 you have.
