I need some help please. I have a computer that seems to have 2 BIOS versions. One says INNOVA MT BIOS v 1.11
The other says American Megatrends 51-0117-001291-00111111-071595-82437FX-H
AMIBIOS Date: 7-15-95

Which one is it and how can I update it?

Thanks

The first one tells you that this board was ripped from a Canon Innova system.

The second string tells you that it is a board made by TMC/Mycomp. This means the board itself should have a marking in white ink somewhere.

PCI5xxx
AI5xxx
CI5xxx
TI5xxx

Please reply with any similar number you might find on the top surface of the motherboard, we will then try and find a bios upgrade.

Appears to be the PCI54IM.

51-0808-001291-00111111-071595-82430FX
is available.

ftp://ftpsearch.city.ru/pub/drivers/mot ... 54imm6.zip

Wondering what you want the upgrade for?

Jumper settings are here:

I am sure the redirector has been there for 6 months or so, obviously not long enough.

I could not find anything about the TI5TV on that page. :(
Am I missing something? What is the redirector?
I don't exactly need the entire manual.
What I need to know is if I can overclock an amd 233, hence the jumper settings.
Also the MB has 2 DIMM sockets: what kind of RAM can I plug into those sockets?
Thanks in advance, and excuse my newbie-ness.

Also on the TI5TV

The only piece of information on this board which I found on the Internet is:
http://www.processor-emporium.co.uk/Ti5tv.htm

But, should I need USB on this board (via PCI), I may need to upgrade the BIOS (as it is pre-1998): any suggestion on which BIOS I would need?

My entire BIOS string, just in case, is:
51-0729-001291-00111111-071595-82430VX-H

THANKS FOR THE ATTENTION

About overclocking.

It says on the site I cited (http://www.processor-emporium.co.uk/Ti5tv.htm) that the maximum processor speed I can get is 233, so no overclocking.

Don't hijack someone else's topic to ask about a different board.Start a new one. I have located a newer BIOS and I'll reply to your new topic.

Maybe because you didn't tell us in the first place what board you had. The original thread was about the PCI54IM.
