Identify it at PC Chips Lottery http://go.to/th2 - in the "DON'T KNOW" section on the left.

I think an M590 with an early bios revision. One of these versions has a known bug of showing 570 instead of 590...

There are 3 December releases (all work fine) for the 8MB M590.
Do not use the 4MB version!

Do you have the 12311998 file on all your sites ? > From the Wimsbios Link I see only 1209 and 1217 and the 99x one ?!?
Has the 99x Bios only problems with activating USB or other problems ,too ?

What is the difference between 19981209S.rom and 19981217S.rom?

Yes, the "X" bios is the version with USB problems. Only recommendable if you are NEVER going to use any USB devices.

The difference among the 3 Dec. 1998 releases are minimal, and seem to be related to cosmetical issues only (as in the bus speed, CPU total speed display, etc.).

The 12/31 release was supposedly a special release for the Eurone OEMed M590 boards. Works too, no problem. I'll upload it soon.
