Hi,
Need to know my motherboard manufacturer and model, tried figuring out unsuccessfully from the id.
My REAL problem is off and on (its now getting more and more frequent) when i boot up my PC i get the message:
"CMOS checksum error - defaults loaded" Press DEL to enter setup, then i have to manually change date, on board audio settings, etc each time (though this problem does not happen on every boot).
Will i benefit from an upgrade from the e support (award) bios site?

BIOS Agent report is:

Thanks for the info.

Another thing, i found the motherboard manual and it has the manufacturer as HIS (Hightech)- www.hightech.com.hk (the website is offline), are they the same as the ones you've listed? I think HIS are out of business now.

Any suggestions for curing the checksum error?? Will the e support upgrade $30 help or are the ones on your website equally effective. How do i get the update, the download file on your website (80903iag.bin) does not start downloading.

Sorry for so many questions, and thanks once again for the help.

It seems all mentioned boards are PC Partner OEM mainboards - look at the Bios OEM-signon !
