the bios tools says:

BIOS type: Unknown
BIOS ID: TOSHIBA Satellite A45 BIOS Version: Version 1.50
OEM Sign-On: None
Chipset: Intel 3580 rev 2

indeed...sorry i forgot to say its a laptop, im a noob in this hardware thing, i didnt think it made a difference :?
