BIOS Updates forum

I need help identifying my motherboard. I have a Gateway 4542GP notebook computer. I would like to find the latest bios for this computer since Gateway has not posted any updates. I talked with Gateway tech support and was told that the motherboard was made by Arima and is called the StormCentrinoUMA. They did not have an exact Arima model number. I was also told that the Gateway part number for this motherboard is 102532. I ran the latest version of Bios Agent 3.52 and it returned the following.

What needs fixing? Your BIOS is still very recent.

I'm intrigued by that 86C part in the string. It's something I've seen in some retail genuine Intel server motherboards... Who is OEMing who there...
