Bios is not going to help this time, Phoenix still succeeds in hiding the OEM from us :(

Open the case, make a clear sharp picture so we can read any part numbers or get an idea of its looks and we can compare it to other known boards. Most likely it's an Aopen or Gigabyte boards, those are the most common in Acers at the moment.

That's what I wanted to avoid  This Acer does not open so easily like my old Tecra where you unscrew everything and that's it. Here is very few screws and you can break plastic parts easily.

Phoenix BIOS hasn't a BIOS string like Award or Ami.
That's the reason I'm not including them.

Yes, the reason why I'd like to know my mobo specifications is to be able to tell for example what PLL does it use + some more usefull info I might get.
Enabling more options in BIOS would be excellent but from what I read I can stop counting on that.
Another thing - HDTach shows 32% CPU usage during HDD test and I have UDMA enabled. It's ATI chipset (R-something + SB400), maybe there is an IDE driver for that...

now, what is this Bolsena? A joke or crap? Never heard of it...
Trying to localize PLL chip, but I have no ide where it might be.

bottom edge of the top picture: not standard.
pcmcia slot included: not standard

conclusion: special OEM build board, no retail equivalent.
support: Acer only.

Sorry.
