Does it boot?

If so, go back and read the FAQ for posting in this forum, then give us the info specified re. BIOS messages.

If not - information that might help us:

Processor/Socket type? Chipset? No. of PCI slots? AGP slot? ISA slot(s)?
Label on parallel port?
Photo?

Where does this report come from ?
GBT sound like Gigabyte, F5 as Bios version sounds like Gigabyte, too.

Gigabyte boards should be clearly marked so please open your case and have a closer look on your board, especially between the PCI slots.

Programs like Sandra or Everest should be able to give you a Bios-ID and/or the motherboard name (as a suggestion based on Bios-ID)

Hi,
i have the same issue.
My friends who is has no clue of what a motherboard means,
sent me the following info on request (From : System Tools -> System Information)

System Manufacturer GBT___
System Model AWRDACPI
System Type X86-based PC
Processor x86 Family 6 Model 11 Stepping 1 GenuineIntel ~1202 Mhz
BIOS Version/Date Award Software International, Inc. 6.00 PG, 12/31/2002
SMBIOS Version 2.3

Now what is the manufacturer's site to see the motherboard specs?
I want to know what is the max ram (and type) it can take, number of pci slots available, ....
I couldn't locate the above model on GigaByte website

Thanks,
