I really don't want to spend a penny on this old beast. At a quick glance the link you sent me looks like money.
I need the mobo figured out and I'll go find the drivers.

uhhh, D*MN! i posted the link to the OFFICIAL VIA (maker of the chipset of your motherboard) site.
if you follow the next link, you can download the chipset drivers for your mainboard directly..and guess what?! they don't even charge a penny for it!
