Manual or jumper diagram for ECS P5GX-B

I'm looking for the manual pdf or jumper diagram for an ECS (Elitegroup Computer Systems) P5GX-B motherboard. I finally found their website, once I learned that the board was made by ECS (no easy task), but their support archive doesn't go back to Socket 7 Cyrix MediaGX motherboards.

Anyone know where I can get this, or HAVE one? I'm also looking for other MediaGX 233Mhz or 266Mhz motherboards (only those two flavors) if you have one and are interested in selling it.

Can you check if the setting/front panel of this P5GX-LG board are even remotely similar?

Not even close, unfortunately. The P5GX-B has ALL the I/O connectors as ribbon cables (com1/2, video, audio, parallel, sound, ide, floppy), not built onto the board. Even the P5GX-M (which is the closest one for which I've been able to find a diagram) is too different to be any good.

I emailed ECS last week to see if they have it and it's not posted on their site in the archive (no socket 7 stuff there, and this is for a Cyrix processor, hence the video connector), but they haven't responded yet.

Doh so this a Baby-AT board version of the P5GX-M then? Wow, that is indeed a blast from the past. I'm going to check if I have any ECS info that old...

Yes. 3 PCI, 2 ISA, 2 memory slots, AWARD BIOS, Cyrix CX5530 chipset, Socket 7, PS2 mouse/keyboard ports are the only connectors soldered to the board. All the rest are pin connectors for ribbon cables.

Nothing is screened on the board to give a clue as to what the jumper block settings may be.

printer port is only one way wired so if you have a cable from another board that should work. serial port is either

1 3 5 7 9
2 4 6 8

or

1 2 3 4 5
6 7 8 9

there are numbers near the corners of the connector that give a clue what way it is wired. Can you send a close-up picture of the front panel connector to edwin@wimsbios.com please?

I wouldn't mind seeing an image of this motherboard. I have the P5GX-M setup in a case with a GXM-266 MHz. It runs great, but only has 2 PCI slots. I have never seen a Socket 7-GXM with 3 PCI slots, so I would be very interested to learn of your P5GX-B. Were you able to setup and configure the board in the 5 years since your original post?
