Seems like ECS has removed the manuals for all the "P5"-motherboards (they had them before). If anyone can give me a url where I can find the manual or if someone can email it to me I would be happy!
Sincerly,

Henrik, the only way I found to get to the manuals (hidden in the ECSUSA site) is: (the links do work)
http://web.archive.org/web/200207302032 ... main-m.htm
Are you willing to download all of them?

for safekeeping...

http://www.ecsusa.com/ECSUSA/WWW.ECS.CO ... wnload.htm still seems to work, but I've downloaded P5V through to U series manuals just for safety.

Got those on my harddrive already and on CDR. There's an online copy here:

Not entirely. The mobokive has been prone to mishaps that have greatly decreased since the owner has put it on an UPS.
And I am on vacation the next two weeks (5th august till 16th august).

There was a flame war going on for weeks at uk.telecom.broadband about lightning protection, gas surge arresters, transzorb filters, earthing methods, etc.... mostly between a guy from the USA who insisted it was mandatory because he had a lightning strike a month in his area, and a guy in the UK who reckoned he had not had a local lightning strike in his life and didn't need all that expensive equipment. So if Hardware Guy builds a Faraday Cage, puts a 2 metre copper spike in the ground beside his front door... go to uk.telecom.broadband if you want the boring details!
