Hi,
I'm looking for a more complete manual for motherboard J-403TG (from Jetway), as the document provided under the Jetway website is rather incomplete. Do anyone has it or know how to get it? Thanks.

Edwin,
Thanks for the additional information. However, I still could not obtain the information I'm looking for.

I've recently trying to upgrade the memory but it doesn't work. I suspect the refresh rate is the cause. Any idea how to check if J-403GT (Rev. 2) support DRAM memory of different refresh rates (1k, 2k, 4k), and if so, how to configure the desire refresh rate (eg. jumper, but unfortunately not reflected anywhere in the documents/manuals found so far; BIOS, unfortunately no such choice)?

Thanks.

It looks as if you need to use FPM memory with true parity, it has some banking limits and you need to set jumpers to activate a bank or not. EDO is most likely not going to work, nor any odd memory stick you have lying around, you really need to use true parity sticks.

What memory have you tried exactly, in which slots and how was JP18 set?

I've tried using four matched SIMMs of 4MB each, in the four 30 pins slots available, with JP18 set to 1-2 (shorted). The refresh rate of the DRAM is 2k, which differs from my original DRAM (1k refresh) that come with the PC. I've disable memory parity check in the BIOS, even though the newly tried 30 pins SIMMs do have a IC chip for parity.

other than emailing jetway ot j-mark (they sell jetway boards in the USA) I wouldn't know, there's no complete manual online anywhere and I don't have one in my archives either...

Thanks. I had posted some questions to Jetway in the past but records so far were nil replies. I'll try again this time (and probably to J-Mark too) and hopefully get some replies.
