Having trouble finding info on this board - is it marked MS-6564 on the board surface? What CPU (Socket 478 or ?), how many PCI, AGP slots, what kind of memory (DIMM, DDR) and how many slots, etc.? Also, does the board boot? What operating system are you running?

If it is at all possible, post the BIOS ID string number. It is the number that appears at the bottom of the very first boot screen when you first turn your system on. It will look similar to one of these two examples:

Award/Phoenix BIOS: 2A59CG0HC-00 or i430TX-SMC67X-ATC-5030C-00

AMI BIOS: 51-0102-1101-00111111-101094-AMIS123-P

You will need to hit the "Pause/Break" button on the keyboard the moment you see this screen so that you can write the number down. If it is too fast for you, then download the Bios Wizard and post back with the information in the report it produces.

Thank you for your post.
The problem is not about BIOS. I have the latest version of bios for this mainbord.
I need the manual because there are some jumpers and I don't know what their use is.

Here are some detailed specifications of the board:
- manufacturer: MSI - LGIBM OEM
- model: MS-6564
- chipset: sis650GX - northbridge / sis961 southbridge
- socket 478 for prntium IV / celeron processors
- 1 x AGP 4x slot
- 3 x PCI slot
- onboard sis650gx video adapter with max 64MB shared memory
- onboard CMI8738 5.1 channels
- 2 x IDE - UDMA 33/66/100
- USB 1.0 support

Another problem, and I must say the most annoying one, is that my HDD works only in PIO mode (NOT UDMA !!!) :(.
I have a Western Digital 80GB JB model HDD (8M buffer ATA 100).

Thank you.
Best regards.

...you may have mixed up the slave/master ends of your IDE cable.

Have you run the Bios Wizard yet? I wasn't suggesting a new BIOS - the wizard should give a BIOS ID which may help us find a manual for you.

MSI MS-6564, what more info do you want? It's an OEM board, you won't find info at MSI.
