Does anyone know how to change the FSB speed from 66 to 100 Mhz on the pcchips m747 version 1.5 motherboard? 66 with my 450 processor is killing the system with frequent and inconvienient lockups. If someone could help me it would be appreciated. Thanks all!

If it locks-up at 66, it'll only get worse at 100.
Anyway, the manual is at http://go.to/ajz

Thanks for the reply. My processor is designed for a 100 Mhz bus speed. The manual for my MoBo (m747 v1.5) says nothing about how to change the FSB. I am lost dude! Really. Any tips? Great site by the way. A lot of info there on pcchips boards. I iked it!

That's old 1998 BIOS. The latest one is 990629S at http://go.to/ajz.
This board has CPU Plug&Play - set the correct FSB in BIOS SETUP.

oldie but goldie 8) , i have tested this one and it works well!
this board is too very o'c friendly, it allowed to me run my celi 266 at 400Mhz ;) just simple setting in bios is enought...

if u still will have troubles with running your cpu at 100Mhz FSB, try to search what pin B21 on slot1 CPUs do, u will be very surprised 8)
