i often visit the forum and from what i have understand so far
(i am not a hardware expert)
it is possible using uniflash and the hot flash method to flash another motherboards bios even with a differnt chipset ,even with a diffrent
bios memory capacity.
well the bios thats needed to be flashed is from a jetway ppga/slot1
bx-133 via 82c693a+82c596b with 256k award bios(s/n191556519- vo1251c is written in the down side of the bios chip) .
At first the mobo showed

Award BootBlock Bios 1.0
Copyright (c) 2000

BIOS ROM checksum error

Detecting floppy drive A media..

i downloaded the right bios and using a boot disk ,awd flash and the lates bios i flashed it ,everything seem to go right but it flashed the bios in but
the baers tha shoes the progress in bios flash went all the way but then the screen blacked and the green light of the monitor went orange ,no message to reboot ,no auto reboot ,so after 4 or five seconds i reseted it and now it shows nothing even in boot .
just for the record when it shoes that message in booting

BIOS ROM checksum error ...
if i did several resets sometimes especially when i keeped pressing the reset button for sometime it booted normally (up to a point -hard disk was connected and you coun enter the bios menu )but that happened randomlly.

So the mobo i will use to hotflash the (jetway bios )is a rather expendable
asus sp4 socket 7 with sis 5511/12/13 chipset an a 128 k award bios(s/n027396144 and in the down side is written qd25450380)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
So before i go on i would like to ask what certain commands(?????)
concerning uniflash i should use having in thought of the differencies of the memory capacities128 and 256
,the differnt chipsets via and sis ,and that i wish also to reprogramm the bootblock of the jetway bios .

Thanks in advance ( i am now checking the vcc volts just in case in both boards).

First check (and replace) CPU and/or memory.

unfortunatelly the jetway bios chip is a syncmos f29c51002t
which accordind to uniflash doc is not working with the proggie so i have to stck with the awdflash ?
what about boot bootblock programming?
