BIOS Updates forum

Hey there, im new to this... Ive only ever flashed my bios once, and that was a long time ago. Im going to completely format and blah blah blah, and I would like to updat emy bios at the same time. Finding the file(s) isnt hard at all, but heres the trick: I dont have a floppy drive. Im cheap and cant figure out how my drive isnt working, but I know I can boot thru cd-rom... is it possible to flash from it as well? Cause I think the floppy thing on my mobo is pooched... it hasnt worked in a LONG time. I would greatly appreciate any info as to this, or if its not possible how to go about doing it... thanks in advance!

You may be able to flash from CD-ROM using Uniflash; I believe the Award flasher does not like write-protected media.
