Hi!
I am sorry to bother y'all but I am really having a hard time finding a suitable bios upgrade for my award bios. I would be very grateful if you could tell me where I can get a suitable upgrade. I have a 256MB RAM 32Mx8 which is only working at half its original capacity. here are the details:

Award Modular BIOS v4.51PG

07/07/1999-693-596-8671-2A6LGC3AC-00

Mainboard: Chain Tech 6VTA2-E10AN (info. from the white sticker on the bios chip)

VIA 82C691 rev 68

Thank you!

AFAIK VIA VT82C693 northbridge can address only up to 128Mbit SDRAM chips. So you need a 256-MB DIMM with 16 memory chips (8 on both side).
