Got a weird question. Is it possible to use Uniflash to get the BIOS from an EPROM?

It should be able to read EPROM - but never tried it.

8O Hello... Rainbow, i'm new user kclim528... i just want to know that whether the uniflash 1.26 support the "detected" VIA chip like VT8361 as stated in the uniflash.doc that comes together with the flash program...

All detected chipsets have some code associated so they should work but some of them do not (and some works on some boards and not on other) - you have to try it.

Check if there's 12V on the VPP pin - if not, you need to make a simple adapter. http://rainbow.ht.st/hardware/hotflash.html

You should be able to do the same thing - you just need the pinout of your chip - see datasheet (search the web using Google).
