Need bios for a HP Brio BA600

Hello all, I need a bios for the HP Brio BA600 and you guys are my last resort 
The one in it currently is: HW.27.10 (QHW.10.01)
The problem I am having is the thing will not detect Hard drive (40Gb) and also will not boot from CD Rom. I have had the system laying around for a while and decided to resurect it with a new cd rom and hard drive. My first assumption is that it has a problem with the motherboard but I am willing to flash the bios to see if that helps.
Other things I have done to test this machine include swaping hard drives and cd roms and also clearing the cmos.
Any help on this would be great, thanks
