only problem...

i have the Amptron PII-3100 motherboard
the download site you gave me has the bios update for the Amptron PII-3100B motherboard

the only difference between the 2 bios chips is the size.
if you could possibly find the 128kb bios file for the PII-3100
it would be extremely appreciated.

Thank you but another problem...

bootblock mismatch, im guessing there is no other bios files you have for my motherboard.
Unless you have the 128kb PII-3100A bios...

ok now a new question pertaining to a hard drive(i know it should be posted somewhere else im just being lazy).

is there a way to turn on the 48bit lba(or was it 42?) function in my bios without fully updating it?

I know this is bumping an old topic, but I have the same motherboard as this individual. Can anyone link me to the correct bios revision?

Motherboard: Amptron PII-3100 Rev: 3.1
Current BIOs: 10/10/'98

More or less, I have some RAM detection issues and a few other superficial annoyances. I have had problems with locating Amptron BIOs updates before, and this is no different.

Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

first of all, make a backup of your current bios with uniflash http://www.uniflash.org and send that to me so I can see if we have something compatible and in a newer version than yours.

As for the memory detection issues, standard i440BX chipset rules apply:
