It's compatibility generally has to do with the BIOS chip itself, so considering your old board, it should work.

can i please have a link to download this flash utility. And before a flash, will the program let me backup my old bios, and if it dosent, plese tell me how to back it up.

so if the bios flash goes bad, i just insert the backup bios and the bios will return back to its old version?
