stealing an idea and a nickname and republishing it with another or a similar name is nearly the worst thing a human can do.

So, please stop all the current and future efforts regarding the unallowed derange of the BIOS Tool Collection project.

1.
Your current activities do not motivate me to release the next version of the real BIOS Tool Collection.

2.
Furthermore your activities cause nothing but troubles (houndreds of email requests with confising/stupid questions about the BIOS Tool Collection..,).

Borg Number One,

Sorry if you are dissatisfied with efforts to continue the project which you all but abandoned without saying or doing really anything. I didnt really steal your nickname since i made it quite clear that i wasnt you and since the nicknames are different. Also, I hardly stole the idea. It's a collection of BIOS tools, it had been something like 1-2 years since you had last been actively working on them, so I found them and continued work on what is in my view a neverending project to provide the public with some kick arse BIOS modding tools.

As far as your dissatisfaction with the way I am handling them goes, I'm sorry it causes you troubles. You could always redirect the questions to me.

Essentially, if you don't like the way I do it, do better. I can't even find your original tools for download anymore. So it seems as though yours are essentially gone. For all I care, they could split, like OS/2 and Windows, may the best man win. However, I really dont want a quarel or anything negative to happen.

Again, I regret this upsets you BNO, but I use the tools myself, and keep the updated for personal use, and since so many other people like them, i will continue to do them the favor of making the tools available to them too.

P.S. I doubt you would at this point, but if you still have the unreleased version, I would love to get my hands on that or any other good tools or stuff you can get me or direct me to.

- Phil

Hi all,

I removed the links to the BNOBTC / BNTBTC packages as they also contain some tools for which you'll need permission from Award/AMI/Phoenix to host them.

PS: I can host a package with only freeware tools on Wim's BIOS.

Why did u have to remove the email? Thats my email, not his. Furthermore, as long as its not directly linking to a package on my site, cant you just link to my site, since the tools arent the only thing there (urls removed, etc.

Hi Phil,

Your email was most likely removed by KachiWachi (a moderator) because you'll start to receive a lot of spam/virusses by spammers if you leave your email address visible on the forum.
(it's a general thing the moderators do as not all posters are aware of the consequences of showing your email address on a forum).
