modify bios to bypass halt error

Many Asus-mobo's suffer from Chassis Intrusion Halt Error.
In many cases it has nothing to do with the jumper or battery but with a serious problem of the mobo.
It is not possible in the standard bios to disable this check.
Is there a way to MODIFY the bios to disable this check?
Has onyone experience?
