I have a thin client with a Geode GX1 300 mhz cpu and would like to know if I can add support for more ram to it??

The same machine works with a 512 meg pc133 stick when using the XpressRom bios that I found on a newer model....

the DRAM controller is embedded in the CPU (and a few other things aswell). the limitiation on supported DRAM densities is always a limitation introduced with the DRAM controller. there are however rare cases where a flaky BIOS limits DRAM usage.
i'll post the DRAM densities supported by the NSC Geode GX1 later.
