symcmos not working?

I recently bought a Sony VAIO, not knowing Sony disables VT in the BIOS without the option to turn it on.
I read about using a tool called symcmos to alter a cmos register to enable Intel VT anyway, so I made a boot USB disk with DOS on it and symcmos.
However, when I run it, it gives

This is build 643710-035. The older 643710-023 build only givesWrite symbolic report to file: DEFAULT.TXT

as output. Can anyone please help me a bit here? What is going wrong? Is symcmos unable to read my cmos? Am I using a faulty version of symcmos? Can any of the BIOS guru's here explain what the error message means?Write literal report to file: DEFAULT.TXT
