Looks very interesting.
Can that be used to boot a machine which has NO BIOS ?
What is the price for one unit ?
Do you take VISA ?

Hi, Nick.
Yes, it can boot a machine without BIOS.
The origin price is US dollar 800. But now, you can get it only 640 US dollar.
Yes,we can accept VISA.
ThanksQQ

Don't you think it's "a bit" expensive?

@rover_shie: That may be good for an electronics shop, but I'm a hobbyist and cannot afford it.

I'll better use more "conventional" methods - hotflash, c't Flasher and a soldering iron for soldered chips. Plus I'm going to made an "adapter" from a PLCC socket that can be plugged onto a soldered chip - some cutting/soldering will be still needed, but better than nothing.
BTW.: There are some other tools for BIOS development - like ROM emulators - although not usable for board repair.

How does it work, that the CPU will be "activated"/"started" by PCI-Cards emulated BIOS-Data instead real EEPROM's Data????
or
How does the CPU know to look for BIOS-Data on the PCI-Card instead taking the code from EEPROM???
