adding amd phenom support to a sapphire pc-am2rd580 bios ?

Hi there, i have just joined and this is the first time i have posted, i have a sapphire pc-am2rd580 motherboard , which does not support the amd phenom cpu, but there are boards with the identical chipsets from other company's like asus which do support the phenom with a bios update , i have been reading through the forums, and have seen that you can extract the cpu microcode from the bios with cbrom, if i extracted it from an asus bios would i be able to add it into the sapphire bios making it work ? I dont have the phenom cpu yet but will be getting one shortly, just would be nice to keep my old board working. Thanks for taking the time to read.
