hi ...we're asked to use int 13h and extensions in our program of retrieveing th disk parameters.....the caracteristics of my bios are as follows :american megatrends INc 080014 ..29/05/2007 ....version of smbios 2.5....now when i check the existence of the int13 extension , the carry flag is set ....they don't exist .. what do i have to do ....how could i work ,if it's possible,on real mode using int 13h........thank u

and to the extend: never EVER use bios calls if you can do it much smarter. this site shows many reasons why NOT to use bios calls at all. get the atapi specs and look for the only way (tm) to retrieve disk parameters!
