My disk drive for my laptop broke so I got a hp external cd/dvd drive and can't find out how to put it into the boot sequence menu. Is there a way?

If you don't have a boot from USB option you're doomed.

It depends of model but try this: remove hdd, connect only dvd/cd drive and then try to boot.

some laptops allow to boot from network it could help but its complicated.

in nc4010 there are 2 usb ports and one of them have a "+" mark near. i think this one is for booting.
