LAPTOP MONITOR NOT WORKIN PLEASE HELP

hi can someone pleasssee help me with this..
everytime i turn on my laptop ( acer travelmate 6592) the screen is so dark that i can barely see anything. if i look closely i can log on with my password but thats about it cuz its way too dark. ive adjusted the brightness n charged it fully i dont know wot else 2 do??? wots wrong with it??? its happened once or twice b4 but it worked after a day.. now its been about 3
