hi all

ok my problem is as follows
ive got a lg ls50 laptop whose usb ports stop responding and i think the sulution is with the bios
i also have a fujitsu siemens 755si5 laptop on this one if a faulty usb device is pluged in it disables the usb ports so no usb devices is recognised but when you go into the bios and do a reset to default and restart the usb's works again same 82801db/dbm chipset as in the lg ls50
but with the lg's and other laptops with this chip if the usb's is disabled like that there is no way to get them working again

anybody can help me on this to see if this populer usb problem has a bios solution as im sure it is a bios disableing the usb's

thanks
