Docking connection on HP Omnibook XE3L

Does anyone know if the HP XE3L has the connection for a docking port replicator. My power socket has come away from the motherboard and I was hoping I could solve it with using a docking port replicator. On the underside there is a rectangular hole which looks like it should have the connection beneath but it is covered with a fixed in rectangular plastic cover. I do not know how to remove the cover and does that mean anyway there is no connection inside?
