Good day,

I've a sony vaio laptop, vgn nr21s/s wich comes with a phoenix BIOS, R1150J9.

I want to create a backup of this BIOS, just in case, as SONY haven't released the BIOS, or an update.

I've used the Universal BIOS Backup Toolkit, which has generared a ROM image, which, when looked at in UltraEdit, looks like a BIOS image.

The problem is the Phoenx Flash tool - winphlash - needs some configuration appended to the BIOS file in order to work.

I have access to another Sony BIOS, R0131J9, which has the configuration information on it, but I don't know if the information is specific to an individual BIOS or can be applied to all.

Can anyone shed light on this for me?

this is no any modificacion. with out configuration information.
i have mod one with song slic2.1, but can't flash back.....i think it is need configuration information part.
