Acer Travelmate 292LMi does not recognise the hard disk

Hello,

after switching the boot order in the setup the hard disc is not recognised. I reset the bios to factory settings with no effect.

I think I need to load a new BIOS from a DOS formatted CD..

Help !

did you just switch the boot order or also disable the harddisk in bios by accident?
