Need to get Acer Aspire One to boot from SDHC

To make a long story short, i have an Aspire One ZG5 that someone ripped the SSD ribbon out of, along with the better part of the connectors. It cannot be fixed even with a hot air rework station as the connectors melt, they probably used infrared or wave soldering on it.

I also have a 16GB SDHC card which the BIOS isn't aware of. Neither of the internal card readers nor a USB card reader (which boots fine in another laptop) will work. It will boot off a USB thumbdrive though. The BIOS is this. I need a way to run Windows from the SDHC card. Either make it boot straight off the card or use a small thumbdrive to run a bootloader that will boot the card. If you need any other info i have Ubuntu Netbook Remix running off a USB drive, and can provide any output you ask for.

Thanks in advance.

You can run Ubuntu from the card but you need to boot from the SSD or from a thumb-drive. More info here:

Somehow I think Windows is not as versatile where it comes to booting from exotic devices...
