BIOS Updates forum

Hello,

I need an updated BIOS for an Aer Travelmate 2430. Current bios is 3A22 and can't display 1600 x 900. It has the SIS 661FX_661MX

Acer is no help.

I see there BIOS updates for some other Acer models and would greatly appreciate if I could get one for the 2430.

You do know the LCD screen will be disabled and you ONLY can use an external monitor if patching the bios?

And since this is a Phoenix bios, it can take more time, it even is not 100% sure it can be patched.
