BIOS Updates forum

Hi guys

I have a problem with my notebook...is a nvidia optimus laptop... (yes...big problem)

In new version of bios, asus has removed an important option (for me)

In the old version there are 2 options in the bios for video card

1) Run the laptop only with video card Intel HD Graphics
2) Run the laptop with nvidia optimus (the switch between the two video cards is automatic)

Now, with new version, this option was removed.

Option may be hidden? it is possible to re enter the old option? (i need the last version of bios)

I need to start my laptop only with intel hd...(or only with nvidia?? much better..but difficult) help please..

I am seeing you asking this question in about 10 other forums too but not in places where people actually might know (e.g. the Asus forums). Did you already check the tech support section at Asus or the manual for your laptop?

Yes...it is possible.. I have write also in asus forum.. What should I look for in asus support?? hack for my bios?

Asus can't help me...asus has used us users to experiment nvidia optimus...and now has left us with this bad product
