BIOS Updates forum

Looks like that i have flashed my Nvidia 8600M with the wrong bios or the wrong way since it stated that it should be done from DOS but i did it from windows, after i restarted my pc after flashing my gpu bios the screen is all black but i can even hear the sound when my windows enters. I really don't know what do, i have searched and found a way to force flash for the mb bios but didn't find anything similar for the gpu. Please if anybody can help i appreciated it very much.

So, what file did you use? Was it indeed for a 8600M? The method (DOS/windows) usually is not the problem, using the wrong file is. And you can be suffering from this:

The Acer 5xxx series of laptops with nvidia graphics are notorious for failing because of this.
