hi,

after a failed bios upgrade my my acer will turn on, but screens stay blank. There are so many different howto's for crisis recovery on the net but I cant seem to find the right one for my model.

could someone provide a description on how to rescue the ios via usb drive?

get the one with the most generic description, make sure you download and use the specific bios file for your model and you should be fine. Most recipes include instructions for handling another model even.
