MITAC 8050D BIOS update for Windows 10

I thought I might try to resurrect an old laptop and put Windows 10 on it. Although the CPU supports NX, the BIOS doesn't have an option to enable this (Windows 10 requires this on the face of it). Have been trying to find out if there is BIOS update but without much success, or even better whether any update might provide the required functionality.
Driver AgentPlus says YES, but when running the Flash utility and associated BIN file provided I got a couple of errors stating that "The Flash part isn't available" and "The Flash part is not supported". At that point it appears they give up.
Any help would be gratefully received.
