BIOS Updates forum

I'm trying to flash BIOS on my Toshiba Satellite C55-B5202 using afudos.exe. I downloaded BIOS from Toshiba website and extracted the following two files.

BIOS.ROM
EC.ROM

I was able to flash BIOS.ROM using afudos.exe BIOS.ROM /p /b /n /k. But I can't find a way to flash EC.ROM. Do I need to merge them together before flashing them, or? Thanks for your help.

The EC is for theEC chip also known as KBC chip which controls keyboard, some voltages on other chips and several other functions. I don't know what utility to use for programming it, if you flashed the main bios and the laptop functions I think there is no need to downgrade the KBC chip. In fact from what I read elsewhere you risk breaking the laptop altogether.
