Hello all,
Anyone with huge knowledge!

I hope you can help me, the distribution in Sweden went off a couple of years ago!
I have a P90 slimnote/powerslim laptop, 300mhz 160 mb,
which was to be upgraded with 1th90009 bios-rom file
Something went wrong in the rboot. After that the machine is starting but nothing is working, not even som chars on screen.

I saw a procedure to rename the correct rom-file to AMIBOOT.ROM and add to an emty disk.
The AMI bios should attach the file in this way, even with the screen blank(in background), but no action on disk at all.
How can I reset the system to act as it should when the bios is corrupt?
Or other remedy/ies?

Best regards

I have not been able to see any action at all on screen.
Have tried "Holding F12" and several other keys when I power on,
no action at all.

But it start, I hear behind a blank screen.

Any idea to get the notebook to read from the paralellconnected floppy?

I would be surprised to find boot block support for parallel connected floppy.
When you "hear it start", do you mean that you hear the normal disk activity, or just that you hear the disk "spin up" ?

I hear the computer count memory and disk spin up.
Not any normal bootprocedure.

Do you have any idea of which key-stroke to activate AMI boot area to act and then activly boot AMIBOOT.ROM from diskdrive?
