IBM Thinkpad 1400 flash bios without battery

Hello All,

How i could flash IBM thinkpad without charge battery? I download from IBM website and here are the files:

ansi.sys
config.sys
ff40.exe
ibmbio.com
ibmdos.com
iflash.exe
iflash.r01
msg.dat
Na2_a6e.bin
pass_chk.exe
ngn2vpd.exe (VPD data write for IBM Nagano2)
runme.com
sbread.exe (smart battery reading tool)

If you guys could teach me how to flash i reallly appriciate. Also, I DO KNOW the risk. Below are the specs:

Thinkpad 1400 2621 49A i series
P3 500MHz 128MB 12GB HD Toshiba 6X DVD.

you need to connect the charger first. No voltage: no function at all.

Ello Edwin, thanks for the reply

Forgot to mention to you that i do connect to AC power supply, but the battery totally dead. when i flashing the bios using IBM tool, it keep saying that i need >20% recharge battery. Also, i tried recharge the battry overnite, still 0%.
