Presario V2000 Phoenix NoteBIOS 4.0 Release 6.1 Video Ram ?

Hello, I have a question reguarding shared video memory. My laptop came with 512mb and 128mb of it is shared with my radeon 200m. I upgraded it today to 1024mb. I WAS going to allowcate 256mb of the 1024mb to video. But the bios only allows 32/64/128. Is there anyway around this? Bios hacks, vid card hacks...anything!?!?!.. :) Thanks for your response in advance :D
