Thinkpad 600e BIOS - how do I get to it?

I bought a 600e a few weeks ago, and it didn't come with a hard drive.

So i stuck in an 800mb hoping i could format it and install windows with little hassle.

However I have no idea how to get into the BIOS on this laptop so I can make it boot from a cd. Pressing delete like in desktops doesn't work, neither does Esc, F1 or ctrl+alt+insert.

All that happens is I keymash a bit and manage to get into a test menu to test all the components, or I leave it and it comes up with a diagram saying it can't find a boot disk (i assume).

Someone help me out :(

You can clone your small hard disk to a new disk in any PC if you buy an adapter for IDE/mini-IDE.
